In-class NLMG essay FRQ2 prose passage

  • Due Mar 7 by 8am
  • Points None

There are three essay questions on the AP Lit Exam.

FRQ1:  Poetry Analysis Essay

FRQ2:  Prose Analysis Essay  (pages 101-152 in Norton Guide to AP Lit)

FRQ3: Literary Argument Essay

Today, you will complete an in-class essay as practice for the FRQ2 prose prompt using a passage from Never Let Me Go.

Your essay will be scored according to the AP Lit Rubric (1-6), and your grade will be converted into a numerical grade out of 25 points. While I want you to be caught up with your reading, your performance on the in-class essay is not a reading quiz.  It may seem odd, but avoid referencing other parts of the novel in your essay and only focus on the passage.

You might choose to review the chapter, including the list of prose terms, although it is not required.
