Contributors, Version, and Number
Other Contributors
Other contributors refers to editors, translators, etc. who contribute to the source in a major way, but aren't the author(s).
Their format is fairly straightforward: edited by Jane Doe.
For example:
Orwell, George. "Revenge is Sour." Facing Unpleasant Facts: Narrative Essays, edited by
George Packer, Harcourt, 2008, pp. 150-55.
Anderson-Lopez, Kristen, and Robert Lopez. "Let It Go." Frozen, performed by Idina Menzel,
Walt Disney Records, 2013.
Version and Number
Version and number are not always necessary to include in your citations. The version and number primarily applies to journal articles. The version and number are used to document sources with multiple volumes and issues.
Think of a magazine, like Vogue. Vogue publishes new issues every month, but they're all part of the larger work called Vogue. Do differentiate among issues, each issue is assigned a volume and issue number.
Abbreviate the word volume as "vol." and the word number as "no." when writing volume and issue numbers. Separate the two parts with a comma and a space in this format: vol. 12, no. 2.
