AP FRQ Progress Check 1 (poetry)
- Due No Due Date
- Points 3
- Submitting on paper
Prior to 7:30 a.m. the day your class meets, complete the AP Classroom FRQ assignment.
This involves reading two poems. For each, you are asked to write "a paragraph" that does the following:
- Responds to the prompt with a claim that presents an interpretation.
- Selects and uses evidence to develop and support your interpretation.
- Explains the relationship between the evidence and your interpretation.
- Uses appropriate grammar and punctuation in communicating your argument.
It's up to you to determine how long that paragraph will be--and you might end up writing two--but better responses will do each of the above.
You will need to use the College Board's version of LockDown Browser for this. Make sure you are not trying to use Chaminade's version of this app.
There is no time limit set for this, but you should expect to spend 10-15 minutes on each of the poems/prompts.
You can access this assignment after 3:00 p.m. this afternoon.
